This site is a list of events compiled by Matt Maldre (me). I figure i've been adding this stuff to my paper notepad, why not share all these upcoming events with everyone?

On this site you can subscribe to all the categories and put them into your iCalendar. Or you can subscribe to the RSS feed or even add it to services like Google, My AOL, My MSN, etc.

It's really nice that you can subscribe to just individual categories too.

Plus, not many places have event lists like Demolition Derby or Roller Derby. And you can look up events way into the future. Sites like metromix.com and gapersblock.com only show their events up to one week ahead of time. And then the only puts the weekend's events up on the thursday before the weekend. With Chicagobean.com, you can look at events well into the future.
